Grace Fox

Composer | Arranger | Trumpeter

Grace Fox has quickly made a name for herself in the jazz scene based on her reputation as a masterful composer and a powerhouse trumpeter. She currently studies Jazz trumpet at the Manhattan School of Music in NYC.

Grace assembled her own jazz orchestra - The Grace Fox Big Band - that features an all-female line-up of her original compositions. The band came together for the first time in the summer of 2021 to track Grace’s debut album, Eleven O’ Seven. The album caught the attention of Ulysses Owens Jr. (who would go on to serve the project as producer) and record labels Blue Collar Records and Outside in Music. The GFBB has sold out shows at Birdland Jazz Club and Dizzy’s Jazz Club in NYC.

Grace’s writing is inspired and influenced by Maria Schneider, Darcy James Argue, Thad Jones, Gil Evans, and Roy Hargrove. She hopes to inspire others through her music and the powerful message that her big band holds.
